Supernatural Together allows members to do virtual live workouts
Engaging VR fitness platform Supernatural has launched Supernatural Together, a new feature that allows athletes to participate in real-time group workouts. Traditionally thought of as individual exercise, VR fitness is now social and community-oriented.
supernatural Several features have been added to allow users to connect in real time through the platform. The new Play With Friends feature allows athletes to join a private room with up to two friends for a supportive workout environment. For users who prefer Supernatural’s popular boxing or flow workouts, it’s now possible to compete against others in real time.
Users can also communicate via voice chat and create customizable avatars with unique styles and colors. Finally, new challenge areas and victory tunnels require teamwork and coordination with other members, with teams earning points for achieving specific goals.
VR fitness is becoming increasingly popular with people who are intimidated by in-person group fitness classes, or who need a more engaging workout to boost motivation. Supernatural, in particular, resonates with those who want a fun-first workout or who may be new to the fitness world. Some courses are set in exotic locales, from Cairo, Egypt to the moon, and involve swinging around lightsaber-like visuals to hit targets. Now, users have an extra incentive to come back to the platform: compete and collaborate in real time.
Supernatural is available on the Meta Quest headset, and its subscription service costs $99.99 per year or $9.99 per month. New Meta Quest users receive a special introductory fee of $49.99 per year for the first 12 months.
