California-based hot yoga brand offers yoga teacher training
Bikram yoga brand Hot 8 Yoga opened its 14th studio in Marina, California this week, welcoming yoga practitioners of all levels and aspiring yoga teachers.
Hot 8 Yoga offers six popular classes, including Barre, Ssculpt, Power Vinyasa, Hot Power Fusion, 26 & 2, and Yin. After yoga, members will receive a chilled eucalyptus towel. Proponents of hot yoga say the intense practice improves flexibility, cardiovascular fitness and mental health.
“After more than five years of searching for a location in the Marina District, we found the perfect location,” said Vincent Nicolleta, founder and CEO of Hot 8 Yoga. “We’re ready to go! We can’t wait to be part of the Marina community.”
Hot 8 Yoga’s 13 studios are located in California, including one recently opened on the East Coast in Brooklyn, New York. The hot yoga brand features an advanced heating system up to 110°F, UV-C lights that eliminate bacteria and viruses, and a supportive space for members.
“Bringing Hot 8 Yoga to the Marina is truly a dream come true,” said Emily Fabian, Studio Manager of Hot 8 Yoga Marina District. “We’re excited to bring the magic of Hot 8 to this incredible community and become the ‘third place’ for people to come together, find their own rhythm, build strength and feel connected.”
