Xponential Hires Former F45 Exec as BFT President

Duncan Cork to lead BFT as Xponential Fitness looks to expand group strength and conditioning franchise in North America

Body Fit Training (BFT), the group fitness brand of Xponential Fitness, has appointed former F45 Training executive Duncan Cork as its new president as it prepares for North American expansion.

The global fitness brand has just opened its 300th global studio in Barcelona, ​​a milestone that brings the Australian-born BFT to nine countries including New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong and the US

Coker succeeds Lou DeFrancisco as BFT president. DeFrancisco, who served in the same role at StretchLab before joining BFT, will become president of Xponential’s recently acquired Lindora.

BFT’s 50-minute, science-based, coach-led sessions are designed as eight-week progressive training modules that combine strength training and conditioning to achieve results in a group setting. This concept gained recognition by using heart rate tracking technology to bring gamified exercise to strength training.

Xponential acquired the Australian-founded brand in 2021 and is looking to establish BFT as the next boutique fitness success story as strength training grows in popularity.

As Cork puts it, BFT represents the “gold standard” in fitness, and he’s eager to grow the brand in the U.S.
