Amped Fitness Launches Luxury Gym With Classic Florida Architecture

Amped’s signature location features fountains, statues and an espresso bar, unlike the gym chain’s regular HVLP offerings

Amped Fitness, a fitness chain that offers high-value, low-price (HVLP) amenities, will open a location in West Palm Beach this month with an upscale atmosphere that pays homage to the vibrant arts scene the Florida city is known for.

Different from the traditional HVLP gym model, Amped’s new west palm beach club is an “iconic” location whose design was inspired by the late Addison Mizner, a renowned Florida architect who designed Mediterranean Revival-style villas and mansions for the wealthy in the 1920s. Injecting Mizner’s vibe into the new West Palm Beach club creates a luxury fitness oasis “never seen before,” according to Amped Fitness.

Amped has been teasing upcoming WPB locations on social media, giving us a sneak peek luxury aesthetic — dimly lit fountains, chandeliers, art deco mirrors and what appears to be a statue of Poseidon.

West Palm Beach offers two membership levels, $110/month or $130/month, and offers 24/7 members-only access, cardio and strength equipment, executive lounge and espresso bar, therapeutic spa and towel service, Hot and cold therapy diving, group classes, spinning, pickleball and childcare.

Amped also welcomed its first Franchise Partnerwho will open a club in the Indianapolis area.

The fitness franchise also launched its first “Sapphire” location in Fort Lauderdale, one of five Amped fitness clubs in South Florida designed to offer “uniqueness and intention.” Sapphire Club has a strict age requirement for guests aged 18 and over and uses equipment from Core, Amped, Prime, Total Gym and Booty Builder.
