AthletEX is a brand dedicated to providing a community for former athletes. Founded by CEO Taylor Cohen, the company is dedicated to helping bridge the gap between former athletes and athletes. AthletEX has strategically partnered with boutique fitness studios in New York City to offer a wellness experience that goes beyond traditional gym memberships.
athlete Partnering with fitness studios such as Tone House, Barry’s, AARMY, 54D, Training Lab, Swish House and Ice Cold Club. These partnerships allow AthletEX members to experience a variety of workouts and wellness activities.
“We carefully selected partners that align with our mission to support active, ambitious and fulfilling lifestyles,” Cohen told Athletech News. “Each of these studios brings something unique to the table, whether it’s the high-intensity training at Tone House, the immersive workouts at Barry’s, or the specialized programs at AARMY and 54D. These partnerships are designed to help our athletes maintain the high levels of performance and discipline they’re accustomed to, even after their competitive sports careers end.”
This summer, AthletEX launched the Summer Fitness Passport, which rewards members for attending events at various partner studios.
“Summer Fitness Passport is a new approach to our membership-based club experience that is different from traditional membership-based clubs. It is designed to reward our members for maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle while providing them with new fitness experiences,” said Cohen. “By participating in a variety of activities and classes at our partner studios, members can tailor their wellness journey to their personal goals while connecting with like-minded people.”
The Summer Fitness Passport program has been particularly successful in fostering a sense of community and engagement among members. “We bridge the gap between athletes and exercise-minded individuals by creating opportunities for them to connect, challenge themselves, and grow together,” adds Cohen. “Whether it’s high-energy classes at Swish House or recovery-focused events like our monthly ‘Cool Down’ series with Ice Cold Club, there’s something for everyone.”
Following the success of Summer Fitness Passport and ongoing partnerships with top boutique fitness studios, AthletEX is ready to further expand its partnership model. “We are constantly exploring new ways to enhance the athlete experience,” Taylor shared. “Our partnerships go beyond providing great workout opportunities; they are designed to build a comprehensive wellness ecosystem that supports every aspect of our members’ lives.”
