Ronaldo’s AVA marketed to athletes will compete with Hyperice and Therabody
Professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is closing out 2024 with a new venture, AVA, a rehabilitation technology brand featuring rehabilitation boots, massage guns and light, heat and cold therapy equipment.
Ronaldo announces launch of AVA (short for Athletes Advanced Recovery) social mediasharing that he poured his sports experience into Rehabilitation technology brand Help others improve their recovery game and improve their performance.
This is Ronaldo’s latest move in the fitness and wellness industry, as he teams up with Avanutri to bring AVA to the forefront of the booming rehabilitation field and compete with the likes of Hyperice and Therabody.
The Al-Nassr Football Club player recently made an undisclosed but sizable investment in personalized supplement maker Bioniq, raising its valuation to $82 million. Earlier this year, Ronaldo also launched health app Erakulis and signed with body function wearable brand Whoop as an investor and brand ambassador.
Portugal-based AVA also sells the AquaBag Ball and AquaBag Cylinder as home fitness gear.
