Kai Troll to lead Europe’s top not-for-profit health and fitness organization into ‘next great chapter’ following strong results in 2023
EuropeActive, Europe’s leading non-profit organization promoting fitness, physical activity and healthy living, has officially announced Kai Troll as its new CEO and provided the results of the General Assembly elections.
The key appointments were announced this week at EuropeActive’s 23rd annual conference in Cologne, Germany, as part of FIBO 2024, attended by members from across Europe.
Troll will take over the leadership role from Andreas Paulsen on May 1, 2024.
Trower, a former consultant to the Boston Consulting Group, serves as a director of Special Olympics Europe and Eurasia, in addition to holding various roles in the sports, fitness, political and philanthropic fields.

John Treharne (UK) and Jana Havrdova (Czech Republic) were re-elected as members of the EuropeActive Board of Directors, and Katarina Andersson (Sweden) and Nathalie Schwartz (France) were elected as new Board members.
