F45 Training & GNC Collab on Wellness, Nutrition

Functional fitness franchise F45 enters new chapter in health and wellness

Functional fitness leader F45 Training has partnered with nutrition retailer GNC to place GNC’s health and nutrition products in F45 studios across the United States and provide members with dedicated nutrition coaching.

The move comes as the boutique fitness brand begins investing in wellness and recovery, adding cold showers, infrared saunas and Hyperice compression/percussion therapy to participating studios.

Through the new GNC partnership, F45 members can join GNC’s Silver Level Rewards program and receive free shipping and exclusive offers. GNC and F45 will also host health-focused events and promotions throughout the year.

“At F45 Training, we know that the work and effort our members put in in the studio is only a small part of a healthy lifestyle,” said Tom Dowd, CEO of F45. “The choices they make in nutrition and diet contribute to success. their health journey and achieve their goals. Through this new partnership with GNC, our members will have access to the nutritional tools they need to complement their healthy habits, powering the functional workouts provided by F45, and recover faster to achieve their desired results.”

GNC CEO Michael Costello noted that partnering with F45 is an ideal way to connect GNC customers with fitness exercises that support their health and wellness goals.

“At GNC, we are committed to helping our communities take their health to the next level,” Costello said. “By combining F45 Training’s results-driven workouts with GNC’s trusted nutrition expertise, our customers can do just that and ‘live great’ every day.”

In other F45 news, Dodd, who became CEO last year, revealed that the company is considering a new name – one that reflects its healthy direction.

“My vision is to be the solutions headquarters for all things health and wellness,” Dodd explains.

While health and recovery will be a bigger focus, the F45 certainly won’t abandon its fitness roots. The brand just announced a partnership with Rep Fitness to provide functional racking and cable systems to participating locations.
