LG Smart TV owners can now transform their TVs into an immersive fitness experience with the Maxpro Portable Gym
Maxpro, a leader in fitness technology, maker of the connected fitness system Maxpro SmartConnect and a 2021 “Shark Tank” contestant, has partnered with LG Electronics to allow LG TV owners to pair the portable Maxpro Gym with their TV to track workout reps, progress and Performance data is displayed directly on the screen.
Best of all, this experience requires no smartphone casting or mirroring.
Owners of 2022 and newer LG Smart TVs in 271 countries can also access Maxpro’s workout library, which includes instructor-led classes covering strength, cardio, Pilates-inspired methods, recovery and freestyle workouts. Maxpro said it plans to expand its library to keep workouts fresh and fitness enthusiasts engaged.
“This is truly an important partnership for Maxpro, enabling millions of LG Smart TV owners around the world to interact with our brand and experience our innovative workouts from the comfort of their homes.” Mike Pro said CEO Nezar Aqil.
Chris Jo, senior vice president of platform business at LG Home Entertainment Company, pointed out that the cooperation with Maxpro is in line with LG’s vision of providing innovative lifestyle solutions on a large scale.
“This partnership represents a step forward in the evolution of connected fitness,” added Joe.
In addition to Maxpro, LG has partnered with boutique fitness and wellness franchise Xponential Fitness and cardio brand 305 Fitness.
Home fitness is an area of enthusiasm for tech leaders, turning the TV into a one-stop fitness center.
This year, Samsung took a similar approach, signing a deal with functional fitness leader F45 to offer its Samsung Daily+ users access to this popular workout. The electronics leader has also partnered with Zumba to bring the famous dance fitness brand to Samsung Health members.
