People around the world will be able to train for Hyrox Fitness competitions at their local gym using specialized equipment and workout plans
Hyrox, the global fitness competition brand, is working tirelessly to equip thousands of gyms around the world with equipment and workout programs to create official Hyrox Training Clubs.
Herox announced with fita digital fitness platform, and centerHyrox365, the fitness and wellness platform launched by Chris Hemsworth, is a comprehensive training and education ecosystem for gym operators and coaches.
All 2,500 Hyrox affiliated gyms will become official Hyrox Training Clubs and receive an integrated training experience through Hyrox Group Training, a cross-functional exercise program.
UK-based Fiit is now a white label partner of Hyrox365, a digital fitness brand that created the Hyrox365 Performance Hub so gym owners can streamline fitness plans and unlock exclusive access to daily Hyrox workouts, class tutorials, educational videos and marketing resources permissions.
“Building on our existing partnership where we have launched tailor-made Hyrox training programs for our competitors, this expansion gives Hyrox the ability to enable gym operators around the world to offer Hyrox group training to support Thousands of Hyrox athletes are ready to compete,” explains Ian McCaig, co-founder of Fit.
The news was announced at FIBO 2024 this week and recognizes the international reach of the Hamburg, Germany-based global fitness brand.
Integrating popular fitness competitions into gyms and fitness clubs is a lucrative move for operators, especially as Hyrox continues to expand its athlete base. It is said that the fitness competition brand will have 200,000 participants in this year’s competition. Hyrox founder and CEO Christian Toetzke believes that 1 million participants will participate in Hyrox events each year.
Training is critical to successfully competing in what is known as a “fitathon,” a format that Hyrox’s global participants compete in that involves a series of functional movements on skis, pushing sleds, pulling sleds, etc. Kilometer running, burpees and other exercises.
“Through Hyrox365, we will work with great partners such as Centr and Fiit to provide world-class products to users and facility owners around the world, and we aim to provide best-in-class solutions to fitness operators, coaches and personal trainers in the wellness space and the fitness industry,” Totzke said.
The move allows Hyrox to compete with CrossFit, which has grown its brand by licensing it to gyms and studios around the world.
Hyrox365 and related training and education services will be launched in the coming weeks and months.
Hyrox also plans to expand its Training Qualification Academy program, launching two new courses this year. The fitness competition will also establish an equipment partnership with Centr by creating “Hyrox Performance Centrs” for its affiliates. The product is billed as the “gold standard training solution” to Hyrox competitors and includes regional exclusivity and access to new equipment.
