This indoor pickleball franchise will roll out the perfect tech stack for pickleball enthusiasts at its 400 locations
Indoor pickleball franchise Pickleball Kingdom has signed a multi-year agreement with leisure venue technology platform PodPlay Technologies that will be implemented at nearly 400 Pickleball Kingdom franchises.
PodPlay offers features tailored for pickleball operators and enthusiasts, offering streamlined check-in, video replays, digital scoreboards and tools to share game highlights on social media. The PodPlay team launched PingPod, a table tennis startup that currently operates 20 locations, before turning its attention to America’s fastest-growing sport and developing technology stacks for popular stadiums and operators.
“At Pickleball Kingdom, we are constantly looking for the best tools to equip our franchisees to better serve their members,” said Ace Rodrigues, Founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom. “After we reviewed all aspects of the PodPlay platform, it was clear that they were the right choice for us. They have developed superior technology and are easy to use that everyone will appreciate. There are so many synergies between our brands, so Together we decided to enter into an exclusive partnership.”
Pickleball Kingdom is the first pickleball franchise to utilize PodPlay hardware and software solutions.
“Our long-term vision is to be the platform for modern pickleball venues,” said PodPlay co-founder Ben Borton. “We are honored to partner with an industry-leading company like Pickleball Kingdom who share our vision of spreading the word about pickleball. Ball fun.”
The fast-growing indoor pickleball franchise recently signed a multi-unit agreement in Ohio and the Sacramento, Calif., area.
