Xponential Fitness Loses Pair of Execs, Adds to Lindora Team

While its head of international and president of digital platforms are leaving, Xponential is adding some executive firepower to its new health brand

Xponential Fitness has lost two long-tenured executives, even as the boutique fitness and wellness franchise strengthens the leadership team behind Lindora as it plans to expand the recently acquired metabolic health brand.

John Kersh, formerly chief international development officer Exponential Fitness and Xponential+ President Garrett Marshall both announced on LinkedIn that they are leaving their positions at the boutique fitness and wellness franchise.

Kersh shared the news on a career site and acknowledged his colleagues, writing: “After 6 years and franchise agreements with multiple brands in over 20 countries, I have decided to leave Xponential Fitness and pursue An exciting new opportunity.”

Marshall took a similar approach, thanking health franchisees for “a great ride” and posting a video recorded in his office on his last day at Xponential Fitness.

“It’s been a very rewarding journey over the past five years, with the opportunity to work with some incredible leaders and great teammates,” he said, reflecting on the pandemic and major events like the company’s initial public offering. Milestone said before.

“This was a difficult decision,” Marshall said, adding that he would reveal his upcoming plans in the near future.

The news follows Xponential’s recent divestment from treadmill-based interval training brand Stride Fitness.

Although Kersh and Marshall have exited Xponential, the company has welcomed back Martin Balcaitis, former chief marketing officer of StretchLab and Body Fit Training (BFT). Balcaitis announced on LinkedIn last week that he would return to his role as senior vice president of operations at Lindora, a metabolic health clinic recently acquired by Xponential.

Xponential made a bold move last year by acquiring Lindora, giving the franchise a foothold in the wellness space with a portfolio of metabolic health clinics offering weight-loss drugs like GLP-1 and non-invasive holistic health therapies.

“Sometimes you have to leave the nest to realize where your true home is,” Balkaitis writes. “The opportunity to once again grow a new brand and help small business owners bring health and weight loss services to the community is incredibly exciting. It feels great to be back home at Xponential and surrounded by talented people who do great work! Find a Lindora location near you ASAP! ”
